Do you have Medicaid and require transportation to medical appointments? CAPCO’s Volunteer Driver Program provides transportation to medical appointments for Medicaid recipients of Cortland County. Our new Volunteer Driver Program gives Cortland County residents another option for safe and reliable transportation to medical appointments. Transportation is available within Cortland County and from Cortland Country to surrounding counties, including Onondaga, Broome and Tompkins.
When scheduling your appointments through MAS (Medical Answering Service), request CAPCO. Medicaid clients should call MAS to book their transportation: Cortland County 1-855-733-9397. When scheduling, just tell them you want CAPCO to provide your ride.
Interested in helping people in the community? We are currently recruiting drivers with their own vehicle who are willing to take individuals to medical appointments. Travel may entail local trips as well as trips to Syracuse and Rochester. Drivers will be reimbursed the current federal mileage reimbursement rate of $0.58/mile from door to door. You choose your schedule, availability. Only available to drive certain days, specific times? We can work with you to make sure that happens. Stop in or call to complete an application today!
