What a day it was! Thank you to all who came out for CAPCO’s 50th Anniversary Open House & Legislative Day Celebration last week! We started our day by hosting a roundtable discussion with the NYS Commissioner of Health, Dr. James V. McDonald, and our esteemed Senator Lea Webb and Assemblymember Anna Kelles to discuss critical healthcare challenges and social determinants of health in our community and overall region.
The Commissioner, Senator, and Assemblymember joined our esteemed Board member & County Legislator, Doug Bentley, for words and special Cortland County Legislature, NYS Senate and NYS Assembly proclamations to honor our 50 years of impact. To conclude our event, we recognized our guest of honor, Lindy Glennon, and her immense impact as our former Executive Director by officially naming our Main Office the Lindy Glennon Center for Community Action!
We are CAPCO, and we are celebrating 50 YEARS as Cortland’s community action agency with additional services in Chenango and Tompkins counties and 60 years of community action programming nationwide!
